Static Shielding bags

Static Shielding bags have been designed for ESD safe packaging of PCBs and ICs. They protect their contents against ESD and electrostatic fields.

BBAS7200 Static Shielding Bags

BBAS7210 Static Shielding Zip Top bags

BBAS7210 bags feature the same properties as BBAS7200 bags. With a low charging, amine free dual track Zip Top closure as an alternative to folding bags and securing them with an ESD caution label.

Dry packaging bags

The Surface Mount Technology has created devices which are increasingly sensitive for the damaging effects of moisture, corrosion and ESD. Dry packaging bags protect against those damaging influences. They meet or exceed the most critical requirements of water vapour transmission and ESD shielding and also offer EMI protection. The tough Dry Packaging bags are heat sealable and are suitable for vacuum and / or nitrogen flushed packaging. Dry packaging bags are ideal for packaging of SMDs in trays, tubes or on tape and reel. The requirements for Dry packaging are described in EIA 583.

Dryshield 7000 bags

Dryshield 7700 bags

Dryshield 7700 bags feature the same properties as Dryshield 7000 bags, however with lower MVTR and higher puncture resistance.

  • construction from outside to inside : extra thick dissipative PET / Alu / PET / Alu / extra thick dissipative LDPE / total guage 0,18mm +/- 10%
  • MVTR < 0,085g / m2 /24h
  • puncture resistance > 35lbs


Desiccant bags

In order to reach an optimal low relative humidity (RH), desiccant bags have to be included in the Dryshield bags. According to EIA-583 Dry Packaging is incomplete without desiccant bags.

Desiccant bags

  • absorb the moisture left inside the bags after vacuum sealing and capture the moisture that manages to pass through the bag material.
  • prevent the relative humidity to rise above a critical percentage
  • are filled with silica gel and made of strong GDT material
  • meet or exceed DIN 55473B and MIL-D-3464E, Type II


Humidity Indicator cards

Humidity Indicator cards are colour change indicators. They are reversible. As the humidity increases the chemically impregnated spots change from a blue colour through a lavender, to a pink colour, indicating whether or not a critical RH has been reached. Humidity Indicator Cards go hand in hand with the desiccant bags inside the Dry Packaging bags.


Dissipative pink polyethylene

Dissipative pink poly is an ESD safe packaging material that is supplied as tubing.

RCAS1206P dissipative pink polyethylene, 0,10 mm

Cleanroom packaging 

The ever shrinking geometries of devices and the need for higher reliability necessitates the use of Cleanroom flexible packaging. Only if cleaniness can be guaranteed from manufacture to the point of use, all benefits achieved by ultra clean manufacturing will be maintained.

The electronic industry uses Cleanroom flexible packaging in the manufacture of chips, wafers, diskdrives and MR heads. This packaging must be sealable, should hold a vacuum and should act as a barrier against outside threats. Contamination is not limited to particles, but includes processing additives and chemical compatibility. There is not "one" answer to the questions often heard like "what film should be used" and " how clean should it be".
One problem typically seen in the Cleanroom is the generation of static charges through tribocharging, both on the packaging film and the prouct being packed. Static charges on the material can lead to electrostatic attraction of particulate to the material and the product.Therefore dissipative materials and / or ionization may be required for product protection.

Available Cleanroom films are polyethylene, nylon, a number of laminates such as Static Shielding and Dry Packaging barriers. Those films can be supplied as tubing, sheeting, bags and shrouds.


Shuntfoam

Dissipative pink Shuntfoam is a closed-cell polyethylene foam. Shuntfoam does not contain carbon but offers conductivity to prevent ESD damage. Shuntfoam can be used for shunting the leads of components. It also provides protection against physical shock, vibration and abrasion in both in-plant handling and shipping.

Conductofoam

Conductofoam is a black, permanent conductive, cross-linked polyethylene foam. Ideal for shorting ICs. This quality does not crumble and does not cause corrosion. Available in 7 and 10 mm.

Customer Store Container

The customer store container is made of ESD safe corrugated carton and complies with IEC 61340-5-1. Ergonomic, very economic and environmental friendly, the Customer store container is an important logistic component for the electronics industry.

The specially designed conductive stacking devices make the customer store container well stackable. With its moisture resitant coating the Customer store container can be used as storage container without the necessity of further repacking. Damage and errors which may occur with every handling will be minimized.

The Customer Store Container can be re-used many times. Moreover, it is completely recyclable. Because of the interesting cost aspects the Customer-Store Container features an economic means of packaging to the electronic industry as well an essential component for innovative logistics.

Caution Labels

Caution labels ensure proper handling of ESDs components. Bright yellow or fluorescent red labels are immediately visible, warning that special handling is required when working with ESDs devices. Caution labels can be used as a closure or as a warning sign for ESD protective packaging such as bags and boxes.
